At Blancunie, we prioritise secure, simple, and transparent checkout experiences for every badminton player.
This Payment Policy explains accepted payment methods, authorisation, security, refunds, and related terms for purchases made on
blancunie.com.

1) Accepted Payment Methods

  • Credit & Debit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover
  • PayPal: Fast, secure online payments
  • Apple Pay / Google Pay: Available on supported devices and browsers
  • Bank Transfer: For bulk/team/club orders upon request (processing 1–3 business days)
  • Gift Cards / Promo Codes: Issued by Blancunie; must be applied at checkout before payment

2) Currency & Pricing

  • All transactions are processed in USD ($).
  • Displayed prices include taxes where required; final tax is calculated at checkout based on your shipping address.
  • Your bank/payment provider may add conversion or international transaction fees if your card is not in USD.

3) Authorisation & Timing

  • Full payment is required at checkout. Orders are prepared for dispatch only after successful authorisation.
  • We may place a temporary pre-authorisation hold to validate your card; release timing depends on your bank.
  • Bank transfers ship after funds are received and reconciled—please email proof of payment for faster handling.

4) Security & Compliance

  • Checkout sessions are protected with TLS/SSL encryption.
  • Card data is processed by PCI DSS–compliant gateways (e.g., Stripe, PayPal). Blancunie does not store full card numbers or CVV.
  • Where supported, we use 3D Secure / Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) to reduce fraud.
  • Orders may be screened; we may request additional verification for high-value or unusual transactions.

5) Billing Details & Address Verification

  • Enter your exact billing name and address as registered with your card issuer to avoid declines.
  • Mismatched details can trigger bank security checks or order cancellation for your protection.

6) Failed or Declined Payments

  • If a payment is declined, confirm card details, available funds, and any 3D Secure prompts.
  • Try an alternative method (another card, PayPal, Apple/Google Pay) or contact your bank to approve the charge.
  • Unpaid orders automatically cancel after 48 hours.

7) Refunds & Processing Times

  • Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method only.
  • Typical timelines: 3–10 business days for cards; PayPal/wallets may post sooner (provider-dependent).

8) Chargebacks & Disputes

  • If you believe a charge is incorrect or unauthorised, contact us first. Most issues are resolved fastest through our support team.
  • Fraud claims may require documentation from your bank and, where applicable, a police reference number.

9) Taxes, Duties & Fees

  • Applicable sales tax is calculated at checkout based on destination.
  • International customers are responsible for duties, import taxes, and carrier brokerage fees where applicable.

10) Promotions, Gift Cards & Credits

  • Only one promo code per order unless explicitly stated. Codes must be entered at checkout and cannot be applied retroactively.
  • Gift cards/store credit are non-refundable and not redeemable for cash unless required by law.

11) Invoices & Records

  • A receipt/invoice is emailed after successful payment. For club or corporate VAT/tax invoices, contact support with your order number and billing details.
  • Retain your invoice for warranty and return purposes.
